Festival Worships
In worship at the Festival this year, we will have opportunities to celebrate the Word amongst us in the bible stories we tell. The language we use in worship will lift our spirits and give space for imaginative wonderment.
We might wonder at the power of language - through the Spirit,
who speaks words of diversity and unity.
We might wonder at the beauty and strength of diversity and unity,
s we tell by-heart the stories of the Tower of Babel and the Pentecost.
Our wondering might lead us forward into our future with love and respect
for all people united by messages of hope and love

Festival Music Resource:
Stanley Benjamin
Lifting up hearts and lives with Music

I'm Stanley Patrick Benjamin from Bangalore, India. I bring to this festival close to three decades of singing experience with mixed age groups (Worship, Action Songs & Puppets). Alongside my twenty+ years in the IT industry (operations) and 7 years' experience in accountancy, my passion and my calling have always been to encourage and help kids, youth and adults with character building and personality development.
In my work, the most important thing to me is that people recognize their inner calling or their purpose of life through my testimony - through leading Singing, Musical Play, Social Development programmes, Puppet Training and Performance, Biblical Telling, Short Skits.
I am a freelance music teacher at a school and in private practice, a husband, and a father of two wonderful daughters: Talitha (12) and Tabitha (10).
Rev. Melany Cassidy-Wise
a wife, and a mum to two adult children and two four legged companions. I’ve been a United church Minister in country parishes for over 30 years. I love people and their faith stories. Eastern Ontario is my home and where I have spent 3/4 of my ministry.
It is time to hone my skills in biblical stories or by heart telling.
Come join us and find yourself resonating in a deeper relationship with grace-filled God.

Rev. Stephanie McClellan

Rev. Steph is a clergy person in the United Church of Canada hanging off the east coast of North America serving Bloomfield-Musgravetown and the surrounding area.

She loves the joy of Biblical Telling and creative, interactive worship leadership. As one who has attention and memory issues, the study and repetition as part of the telling process in practice turns out to be a confidence builder. In this world of turmoil and tragedy, Steph is a Brené Brown fan who agrees that "joy is an act of resistance" and Biblical Telling is a way to find that joy and share scripture in creative, lively and relevant ways to all ages.
